About Swings & Wings (Alameda)

Swings & Wings is a neuro-affirming, sensory-based indoor playground in Alameda, designed and owned by an occupational therapist. It’s built for children of every developmental and mobility level, and especially neurodivergent kids. There’s a swinging and climbing room with lots of swings, a ball pit and a play structure; a jumping room with a bounce house and a 12-foot climbing wall; a creative area with trains, a play kitchen, a Lego table and a dollhouse; art and fine-motor activities; and a sensory room with soft lights, a bubble tube and lighted cubes for calm breaks. Caregivers stay with their kids, every child needs a signed waiver, and kids wear trampoline-grade grip socks. The same space also runs a neuro-affirming preschool and pediatric OT.
