PlaySchool at Center for Developing Minds (Los Gatos)

PlaySchool is a specialized, inclusive early-intervention class at the Center for Developing Minds, a developmental and behavioral pediatrics clinic in Los Gatos. It’s built for children ages 2 to 5 who have struggled, or are likely to struggle, in a traditional daycare or preschool. Kids learn through a mix of free play, structured play, group activities and one-on-one support, and each child has an individual plan for early learning, social-emotional and behavior goals. Classes run Monday to Friday for 2.5 hours a day, with at most 12 children and a 3:1 or 4:1 child-to-clinician ratio. Toilet training isn’t required, a daily snack is included, and parents get progress meetings every two months plus regular updates. Enrollment is rolling as space allows and starts with an intake appointment.
